Fall Ball 2017 – General Information

 

8U (Pee Wee rules), 10U (Bantam rules) and 12U (Midget rules) divisions – ages are based on players’ ages as of May 1, 2017 – in other words, the “baseball age” they played at this summer.

Any players or teams who desire to “play up” in the higher aged division should reach out to Fall Ball Director ahead of time with any questions.

Minimum of 8 scheduled games over 7 Saturdays, with 8th week used for playoffs. 

Season to start Sept 9th, go thru Oct 21.  

Game times will be Saturdays at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm.

Playoff day will be Oct 28 – if we are rained out that day, we will announce backup date. 

“Full team” registrations will have priority, so players should plan to register as part of a full team. 

HPBA will do all we can to facilitate communication between individuals who may be seeking a team and teams who may be in need of additional players.

Any individual players who are seeking a Fall Ball team will be asked to register via the HPBA website (AFTER HP CLASSIC).  In addition, all confirmed Fall Ball players who were not registered as HPBA players for the summer 2017 season will be asked to complete a registration process.

Trophies will be awarded for top 2 spots in each division

League fee is $1000/team 

  • $250 deposit required to hold team spot
  • First 4 teams with deposits are guaranteed spots. 
  • Teams will all supply their own uniforms and equipment.
